UXCamp Ottawa is a locally-grown, volunteer-driven event created for people who want to learn and share their expertise about user experience, and how our profession contributes to making things work better for everyone. We’ll cover topics like user research, usability, information architecture, interaction design, service design, and just about everything related to the creation of compelling products, services and experiences.
You.i is a new way to build TV Everywhere applications. Smooth performance, elegant design, endless devices — you can have it all. You.i Engine plugs into the tools designers use everyday and directly represents motion designs in production UI code that runs on any device with stunning performance. You.i Design is a world-class UX team with an unfair advantage: They get to design interfaces with You.i Engine, so they don’t share any of the traditional design constraints. The results are breathtaking.
Festival House is an initiative of RBC Bluesfest, housed at 450 Churchill Ave. Festival House serves as a festival hub offering mentorship, collaboration and networking opportunities and strengthening Ottawa’s festival community.
Founder and Montreal native Craig Buckley opened the first store in Ottawa in April of 1993. When he started the business, he simply wanted to make the best bagels you could find. By rolling, kettling, and baking traditional Montreal style bagels in a wood buring-oven using hand picked hardwood, and maintaining an unwavering commitment to the traditional quality of the food, the Ottawa based business has become a food institution of sorts – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year – for over 18 years.
We’re back with some new team members, new sponsors, and a new venue! We’re also giving away a full-weekend pass to UX Camp Ottawa Nov 8-9. Don’t want to miss it!
